Sanitation and it’s importance in the medical industry.

Sanitation the word itself means cleanliness. It’s very important to have a clean surrounding for a healthy living. The youth these days are unaware about the importance of sanitation whether it is school, hospitals, offices, work place, park or our house and locality. Sanitation is very important especially in the medical industry. We have a number of medicines being produced and new formula’s being invented every day, but the real cause of concern is, are they being produced in a proper clean environment? This is a big question and we have to emphasize  it.

In the local hospitals we find there is a lot of carelessness and they do not give importance to sanitation. Whether it’s the usage of gloves, injections, scissors, clippers, etc…We must notice that especially when we are going for the blood test at the pathology center, that the person taking the blood sample must always change his gloves and syringe for every patient. Nowadays Hospitals have become a place where we are being treated for one disease but due to improper cleanliness we might suffer with some other disease.

The doctors have made their profession as a business especially the surgeons; they do not have much time as they are associated with more than one hospital; and have a number of patients to be attended. They completely rely on the nurses and the other staff present at the operation theater for the surgical equipment’s. They don’t give a thought whether the instruments are properly sterilized or not, are sanitizers  being used or not.

The food and water supplied to the patients and the utensils used should be properly washed. As it’s from the hospitals that the food is supplied; so it becomes the responsibility of the hospital authorities to take proper care of the hygiene. Sanitation rescues us from a number of spreadable diseases like the AIDS which is growing at an alarming rate in our country. The Pathologist should always use a new syringe and a new glove. The tests should be done in a clean place using new instruments every time.

Our life is very precious and is god’s gift to us. We being the citizens of our country need to teach our kids and create awareness among them and others about the importance of Sterilization. Educational institutions must have special classes to the up growing youth; the future of our country and the world about cleanliness, its awareness and its measures

Portable Sinks Eliminate the Class Bathroom Trip

Children often do not care whether they get messy or not. In fact, in some cases they tend to enjoy it. This is especially true with young preschoolers who love to go out for recess and see what kind of mess they can get into with their peers. Once recess is over and the children come back inside, the teacher may find some students dirtier than what it is acceptable. So is there a solution to this dilemma? This answer is portable sinks.

Often times it is a larger task just to coordinate an organized line down to the school’s bathroom than it is to take all the students on a cross town field trip. With these aspects in mind, it is beneficial for the school to have a portable sink inside the classroom. Perhaps not necessary for all grade levels, but a portable sink can be useful for those at the age where messiness is a norm. The teacher can formulate a line as the students come back into class giving each the chance to take their turn at washing their hands and maintaining a higher level of hygiene. In turn, kids can remain clean and less distracted, and germs can be prevented from spreading easier.

Why Portable Sinks are Economical in Pre-Schools

Little kids do not understand the value of a dollar. They do not care that leaving the sink running costs their school more than may be budgeted for water use. The use of portable sinks in the classroom is a great way to regulate the water use of pre-school kids. By placing these portable sinks at the end of the kids work stations the teacher can regulate the amount of water used in the cleanup process, rather than the children using as much water as they want.

Obviously this would not be the best way for children to clean their hands after using the bathroom, or before lunch. For those types of cleaning each child should use soap and clean water, not reused water in the portable sink; however, for simple activity clean up, the portable sink is a great solution. The ability to control water usage makes portable sinks very desirable. Having a finite amount of water to be used by several children in the cleanup process is the best way to control water usage and therefore reduce the bills that the school pays to the water company.
